Ricardo Lagos, a defender for Alianza Lima, referred to what will be one of his first goals in the two-time champion team, and also assured that the team will once again be a protagonist this season.
"This year the goal continues to grow. Thinking with a cool head, training hard, and giving my best, we will do things right", Lagos stated for Gol Perú cameras.
On the other hand, the 26-year-old defender also stated that Guillermo Salas' squad will redouble their efforts when they participate in the Copa Libertadores 2023, where they hope to end a streak of several years.
"We know that we suffered in the last Copa Libertadores, but this year things will be completely different, I am sure, because of the players that have arrived, the competition, and the revenge we have internationally", he concluded.
