After his death was confirmed, players of the caliber of Neymar, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo did not hesitate to express their condolences. Through his social networks, former Flamengo and Corinthians forward dedicated a few words to the three-time world champion.
“We lost the greatest reference in football, the best player of all time, the King has gone to heaven, but his legacy will always be present. Thank you, Pelé, for everything you gave to football. My condolences and may God console your family and friends,” expressed the all-time top scorer of the Peruvian national team.
