University of Sports is the leader of the Opening and the main candidate to win it a few rounds before the end. However, the players expressed that the real objective is to reach the definition of the national title and win it. This was revealed by Adán Balbín.

"I understand that winning the Opening only gives you a spot in the Sudamericana. It would be important, but the goal of the group and what we are working for is to reach the final," said the versatile player after the training sessions.

Adán Balbín also indicated that the victory over Alianza Lima in the classic game gave more confidence to the group.
