Many people are already making plans to go to the beach during this season. However, what they don't imagine is that not all beaches are suitable for receiving large numbers of people. Find out below a simple and reliable way to know which beaches and/or pools to go to.

App of the best beaches and high-quality pools in Peru

Verano Saludable Minsa - Digesa is the name of the application implemented by the Ministry of Health to safeguard the health of Peruvians regarding beaches and pools.

This platform is available in web and mobile format so that millions of citizens can check which beaches and pools are suitable for use. The information provided through this platform is constantly updated, so it is not always the same. Therefore, it is recommended to check it constantly every time you visit a beach.

For example, according to Digesa, currently Lima has 18 beaches that are not suitable for public use and 49 available beaches.

How to download Verano Saludable? The app of the best beaches and pools in Peru

The application created in collaboration by Minsa and Digesa can be downloaded through this OFFICIAL LINK. However, we emphasize that this is not the only way, you can also view all the information through the website "veranosaludable.minsa.gob.pe".

Finally, we have one more method that you can use to know if the place you are visiting is authorized (only applicable to beaches). If you don't have your mobile phone at hand to check, you can search if the beach has a red or blue flag. If it is red, it means that it is not safe to enter the water, and if it is blue, it is suitable and accredited for use.
