Kylian Mbappé returns to training with Paris Saint-Germain
The forward had at least ten days off after Qatar 2022, but he preferred to return before training.
Kylian Mbappé returned to training with Paris Saint-Germain three days after France's defeat in the final of the 2022 World Cup against Argentina.
PSG shared images of the player entering the club's headquarters on social media. The post was accompanied by the message: "Kylian Mbappé back to training this Wednesday".
This return is surprising, as it was supposed that the Parisian players participating in the World Cup could benefit from at least ten days off before joining their teammates at the club. Mbappé's return, the top scorer of the World Cup with 8 goals and author of a hat-trick in the final, was not expected until January 2023.
The club has not specified the next steps of Mbappé's reintegration program, with PSG's return to Ligue 1 on December 28th at Parc des Princes against Strasbourg, before the visit to Lens on January 1st.
