Chris Jericho's WWE Future

Although Chris Jericho usually wrestles for seasons in WWE, spending the rest of his time on tours with his band Fozzy, this time it is not certain how long he will continue to appear in the company before disappearing again.

The month of May is considered as the likely time for him to disappear, possibly after the Payback event. However, his triumph over AJ Styles at WrestleMania could indicate that he will stay longer.

A logical booking sequence would be to see him as the first challenger to AJ Styles if he takes the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Roman Reigns. But it is practically impossible to seriously consider that scenario.

And Jericho, who knows how to keep secrets, has not wanted to reveal how much longer he will be in WWE. He said so in the most recent episode of his podcast Talk is Jericho:

"For all those who think they can predict my future, I'm not going anywhere. Will I be in WWE next week? Yes. Will I be there in a month? I'm not going to tell you; you have to wait and see it with your own eyes."

He also talked about his experience at WrestleMania 32:

"When you're there and you see the stadium with 101 thousand people, man! It's an experience like no other. And no matter how many events I have worked, how many matches I have had, or how many WrestleManias, which have been twelve, I have been in: Nothing compares to being there in front of such a huge audience and having a great match."

About his match with AJ Styles:

"I had a great time wrestling AJ Styles. All four matches were good, and the last one, at WrestleMania, was exactly what we wanted. Especially after the impressive spectacle of the seven-man ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship. Our mission was to relax the audience a bit and then excite them again with wrestling. And we did it. It was one of the best matches of the show, after the ladder match and the women's Triple Threat. It doesn't bother me to say it."
