The Qatar 2022 World Cup is entering its final stage
After a surprising group stage, the world cup is already in the round of 16, and a series of matches have been played that have left beautiful quarterfinal matchups.
Last Sunday, December 4th, France defeated Poland 3-1; while England easily defeated Senegal 3-0. In this last match, the English did not have their star Raheem Sterling, as the Chelsea winger decided to leave Qatar.

The reasons? Sterling was robbed at his home in London the night before the round of 16 match. His family was inside their home and the thieves used force.
Raheem, with the permission of the English federation, chose to partially return to English territory to be with his family.
It should be noted that Gareth Southgate did not confirm whether the attacker will return for the rest of the World Cup. "We are going to support him and let him take the time he needs," said the English coach.
