Juan Manuel Vargas would have overcome the injury suffered during the match of the national team against Venezuela for the Qualifiers and would be present with Betis in the clash against Levante this weekend.
The Peruvian returned to training today with the Sevilla club to confirm if the injury in his left quadriceps has already been overcome.
This injury not only prevented 'loco' Vargas from playing against Uruguay for the sixth round of the qualifiers but also from the match of Betis against Atletico Madrid that ended with a resounding 5-1 defeat.
However, it will only be tomorrow, Friday, when the coach of the club, Juan Merino, can confirm if he will be able to field Juan Vargas in the vital clash against Levante, the last place team, on Saturday.
