Last Sunday the final phase of the Copa Peru began. There are four teams that will face each other in a quadrangular, also known as Finalísima, to define the champion of the tournament that, for the last year, will grant a direct spot in the Liga1.
Deportivo Garcilaso, Defensor La Bocana, AD Comerciantes FC, and Atlético Bruces FC will compete in the round-robin format and, at the end, the team with the highest score will qualify for the First Division of Peruvian football. The stage will be divided into three dates, each with two matches.
The final will be on Sunday, December 4. That day we will know the last team from Copa Peru to secure a direct spot in the First Division. From next year, the champion of this tournament will ascend to Liga2, not the top category.
