From Doha, the head of the South American Football Confederation was asked by Líbero about his position in the dispute initiated by the federations of the 'Bicolor' and the 'Roja'.
"I cannot comment on that because it is completely disciplinary and understand one thing, the Qualifiers are a FIFA tournament, not a Conmebol one. We are the president of what happens in the qualifying tournament," said Alejandro Domínguez.

Ecuador debut with victory against Qatar
