Great day for Peruvian surfing. This Sunday, November 20, three Peruvians were crowned champions in different surf categories at the Punta Rocas Open Pro. Daniella Rosas, 'Píccolo' Clemente, and Miguel Tudela celebrated their first place after achieving higher scores than their respective opponents.
In the case of Daniella Rosas, she defeated her compatriot Sol Aguirre in the Pro Jr final. The 20-year-old national surfer prevailed with a large difference: 13 points vs. 2.67.
On the other hand, Benoit Clemente, also known as 'Píccolo', took home the longboard championship by defeating American Tony Silvagni with a close score of 14.24 vs. 12.53.
Finally, Miguel Tudela added the cherry on top by winning the open category against Argentine Leandro Usuna. The Peruvian scored 15.16 points, while his rival scored 10.93. This way, the national athlete has won five titles in five tournaments played this year.
