An young woman had a 'surprise of the day' when she found out she couldn't buy Louis Vuitton products at Jockey Plaza in Lima. Did she lack money? She claimed to feel 'humiliated' on social media. We'll tell you what happened.
Through a TikTok video, the user named Brunella Sumari confessed that she had saved 10,000 soles to give herself a 'little luxury' and buy a fine bag from that brand. However, upon arrival, she discovered that despite her efforts, she wouldn't have enough even to buy the cheapest of the garments offered in that exclusive Lima store.
As the Peruvian girl told on TikTok, the 'cheapest' bag sold in that Louis Vuitton store costs 14,000 soles, so she had no choice but to buy at Zara and get clothes from Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, and other more affordable brands.
"I felt humiliated, damn poverty," commented the young user on TikTok. As expected, reactions on the Chinese social network didn't take long to arrive at her video. Thousands of users questioned the exorbitant prices of Louis Vuitton garments.
"Are Louis Vuitton bags so good?", "with 10,000 soles you can buy a lot of good and high-quality clothes", "with that money I can raise my roof", "poor thing", "I prefer Zara", were some of the messages left for the Peruvian girl on that social network.
