Residents of our country suffer daily from the scourge of crime and always turn to the police to make their complaints. However, some elements of the National Police of Peru are not necessarily the most exemplary.

In fact, this is what recently happened to the owner of a minimarket in San Juan de Miraflores. Paula Quispe, the store owner, was allegedly captured by some PNP agents and later extorted by them for a particular reason.

It all started when an unknown young man entered the store and left a mysterious backpack when no one was looking. A few seconds later, Dipincri officials arrived to investigate the package, and ended up finding illicit substances in it.

What nobody knew was that the images were being captured by a security camera. Noticing that detail, the agents allegedly became violent and started struggling with the woman, who revealed that they asked her for money to set her free.

Later, the scene was revealed on '24 horas' on Panamericana Television. In that sense, channel reporters also claimed that neighbors in the area had come out in defense of the woman.
