Cutting off a University attack cost Horacio Orzán an expulsion. Melgar's Argentine midfielder committed a foul against Alberto Quintero and was expelled in Sunday's match, within the framework of Matchday 16 of the Clausura Tournament of Liga 1.
In the 56th minute, Orzán brought down the Panamanian, who was looking to enter the area to generate danger. The referee penalized the action, showed the yellow card to the 'Dominó' player -the second in the match- and then showed him the red card, which left the visitors with one less player.

Universitario vs. Melgar: match preview
Despite drawing with Sporting Cristal in the previous match, which meant that Universitario de Deportes missed a great opportunity to narrow the distance with the rimense team, hopes are still alive in the merengue team.
In the table, the crema team ranks fifth with twenty-eight points, just one less than the 'Dominó' and seven less than the leader Sporting Cristal, who defeated Sport Boys (5-3) on Saturday in Villa El Salvador.
Melgar, who defeated Ayacucho FC 3-0 in their recent match, will be on the other side and currently occupies the fourth position with twenty-nine points.
