Goal by Chris Smalling for Roma: he scored the 2-1 against Inter Milan.

Inter Milan does not escape irregularity and this Saturday is losing at home to Roma, in the eighth round of the Serie A in Italy. Although the 'Loba' started losing, there was a great reaction from the team and the comeback came in the 75th minute, after a precise header from Chris Smalling.

The action started with a free kick, due to a foul by Edin Dzeko against Gianluca Mancini, in the three-quarters of the field. There was a long distance to shoot at the goal, reason why Lorenzo Pellegrini decided to send a high cross into the area, relying on his teammates' aerial play.

The ball was well directed and Chris Smalling, after getting away from his marker, headed it towards the left post of Samir Handanovic, inflating the net. The finishing was surprising and the goalkeeper could not react to prevent the goal, generating deep regret among the 'Nerazzurro' fans present in the stands of the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

Immediately, the English defender celebrated with his teammates and they are on their way to a crucial victory to stay in the fight for the Serie A title. Remember that José Mourinho's team had just lost, at home, against Atalanta (0-1).

After the victory, Roma has 16 points and climbs to fourth place in the Italian tournament, being four points behind Napoli, the leader; meanwhile, Inter Milan lost their second consecutive match (after the 3-1 against Udinese) and remains in seventh place, with 12 points.
