The sudden success of Cyberpunk 2077 is due to various factors: its first expansion, an update, and an anime on Netflix. Edgerunners is an anime spin-off of the franchise that debuted on Netflix and encouraged many users to try the game. Additionally, the game received an update in line with the anime, adding a new chapter to the base story.
Finally, the first expansion was announced for 2023, with a new district to explore, new adventures, and the return of Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand. However, this DLC will not be available for all platforms.
