ELYRIA, Ohio — Overcoming a scare on the road, Olmsted Falls scored three unanswered touchdowns to pull away from Elyria Friday night for a 25-14 Southwestern Conference win.
Pitting size against size, both Olmsted Falls (5-1) and Elyria (2-4) effectively used the ground game to find the end zone, but it was the Bulldogs’ big plays through the air on offense that were the difference maker in a grind-it-out affair on a chilly night.
The game was tied 7-7 at the half, but the Pioneers got their biggest play of the night in the third quarter.
