Complicated situation: The Licensing Court deducted four points from Sport Boys for failing to make payments.

Although they have had an improvement in their football in recent games, internal issues continue to hit Sport Boys hard. This time, the Licensing Court of the Peruvian Football Federation deducted four points from them in the Accumulated Table of the Liga 1, due to non-compliance with the 2022 Licensing Regulations.

In addition to this deduction, which is due to Sport Boys' failure to make payments in June, they were also fined with 17 UIT. As a reminder, the team from Callao already had three fewer points due to past debts.

What Sport Boys needs to do now is to file an appeal to avoid losing more points and complicating their position in the final stage of the championship. The deadline for this is seven days, and it is most likely that they will do it within the next few hours.

Currently, the 'Chalacos' are in twelfth position in the Accumulated Table, with thirty-five points. If this deduction happens, they would drop to fifteenth place, which could complicate their situation if they don't get good results in the next games.

Precisely, Sport Boys emerged victorious in their last match, defeating Academia Deportiva Cantolao 1-0. Defender Cristian Florez scored the only goal of the match with a powerful free-kick.
