Manchester City is the main title contender in the English Premier League and this Saturday it shows its superiority in the tournament, by comfortably defeating Wolverhampton (3-0). One of the protagonists of the match was Jack Grealish, not only for his goal, but also for the tough foul he received from Nathan Collins.

The impressive scene occurred when the action at Molineux Stadium was approaching 33 minutes, curiously initiated by the Wolves defender himself. In his own field, under pressure from Erling Haaland, the Irish defender, uncomfortable on the sideline, made a clearance, but did not cut off the possession of the 'Citizens'.

Pep Guardiola's team was very intelligent and, after a series of touches, Joao Cancelo aerially enabled Grealish on the left flank. The talented midfielder waited for the ball to drop in order to control it, although his plan did not progress due to Collins' abrupt intervention.

Nathan, in an unconventional move, dangerously raised his right leg to kick the ball, but miscalculated and ended up 'planking' Manchester City's number 10 thigh. Referee Anthony Taylor was nearby and did not hesitate to send off the Wolves defender, who had no choice but to accept the sanction. Fortunately, Jack was not injured and was able to continue playing.

How are Manchester City and Wolverhampton doing?

With this victory, Manchester City becomes the new leader of the Premier League, adding 17 points, leaving behind, momentarily, Arsenal (15 points); while Wolverhampton remains in 16th place, with only six units (two above the relegation zone).
