Atlético Torino confirms that it will participate in the national stage of the Copa Perú.

All the effort of its fans in the various activities carried out was worth it. Today, the Atlético Torino team from Talara has the green light to participate in the national stage of the Copa Peru and try to ascend to the highest division of Peruvian football.

How did this happen? The club known as the Taladro del Norte had a debt from previous years, which is why the directors made the decision to join forces with the loyal Talara fans to carry out a series of activities, including raffles, dances, collections, and others for the benefit of the club, in order to pay off part of the debt.

Thus, with the support of all the fans, the club went before the Association of Footballers (SAFAP) to resolve the issue and succeeded. Finally, they were able to reach an agreement on the respective payment and obtain authorization to play the Copa Peru in its national stage.

The president spoke

"I want to thank the Arriba Torino, Maretazo, El Palco chants, and all the Talara residents in Lima for their support," said the president of the Talara club, Antonio Silva.

"This Sunday we are going to participate. This Sunday the Campeonísimo dresses up for the national stage," added the director.

Torino has been able to pay 195 soles as an initial payment for a debt of over 400,000 dollars.

Likewise, for home matches, they will have to pay around 10,000 dollars, according to the club's leader.
