On September 23, Peru will host the 7-a-side World Cup, following an agreement with IFA7, the entity behind this tournament. In total, there will be eight national teams participating in this international event, which will take place at the Manuel Bonillo de Miraflores Stadium.

The Peruvian National Team, the host of the tournament, will count on the presence of the remembered national players Andrés 'Cóndor' Mendoza and Roberto 'Chorri' Palacios, who will come out of retirement and wear the bicolor jersey again, but now in 7-a-side football.
In addition to Peru, Costa Rica, Chile, Mexico, Venezuela, El Salvador, Ecuador, and Colombia will be the other participants in the World Championship, which will end on the 30th of this month.

Nativa will be the broadcasting channel responsible for airing the matches of the IFA7 World Championship on channels 20.3 and 18.1 on free-to-air television.
Who is the current champion?
The last edition was played in Guatemala in 2017, where the Russian national team emerged as the tournament champion. However, they will not participate in this edition to defend their crown.
