Alianza Lima was able to strengthen themselves in Matute and defeated Universitario de Deportes 2-1 in the Pluspetrol Women's League classic, a result that makes them fully focused on the tournament's semifinals.
But before this victory by Alianza, there was a regrettable action that has gone viral on social media, as it involves coach Paolo Maldonado.
It turns out that the 'Leonas' coach was receiving insults from the blanquiazul fans in the western stands, something he did not tolerate and decided to throw a water bottle at them.
Although the bottle was not thrown with force, the gesture was taken as an aggression by Hector 'Tito' Ordoñez, the club's spokesperson. He also revealed that the incident occurred during halftime.
"Women's Classic halftime. In the same systematic way as the Technical Command's behavior last Sunday, causing complaints and game stoppages, today the reserve team coach provocatively threw a water bottle at the western stands. That generates violence," he stated on his social media.

It should be noted that both Alianza Lima and Universitario de Deportes have qualified for the semifinals, so they may possibly clash in the final of the Women's League.
