Bustos doesn't give up the title: "Unlike other teams, we still have nine games left."

The start of Alianza Lima in the Clausura Tournament was overwhelming and became the candidate to stay in first place, but the club fell into a small crisis of results. This Saturday, the team led by Carlos Bustos only drew 0-0 against Cantolao, at Matute, and have three matches without winning, remaining three points behind Sporting Cristal and Atlético Grau, leaders with 21 points.

After the difficult match against the institution of Callao, the coach of the 'Blanquiazules' analyzed the current situation of his team. "We are struggling to convert, I believe that the attitude and the way of seeking the match is always assumed by the team. Obviously, sometimes, for different reasons, we cannot finish destabilizing", said the coach in a press conference.

"In the first half, we had our chances and the opponent had their counterattacks. For the second half, we had total possession of the game, but we didn't find a way to harm the opponent, beyond the action, which I think was controversial (a possible foul against Pablo Lavandeira), because it could have been a penalty", added Carlos Bustos.

In addition, the coach of Alianza Lima assured that there are still options to fight for the title: "Unlike other teams, we are halfway through the tournament, we have nine games left. Although there are clubs that are on top, they will not have 100% of the games. We let important points slip away and we need to recover quickly".

On the other hand, the Argentine coach assured that he has the support of the management of La Victoria team: "There is always work in Alianza and you have to be focused on making decisions. We have been here for 21 months, in a big team, where there are situations to solve, some internal and others external, so you have to be prepared, and the management has always supported me".

Finally, Carlos Bustos referred to the fans who came to Matute and explained that he understands that there are complaints, since the team has not responded recently. "To the fans, we have to thank them for their support. The recent results have not been good and they have the right to express themselves", he concluded.
