Via ESPN and Star Plus, Milan defeated Inter 3-2 on Saturday, September 3rd in the Derby della Madonnina for the fifth matchday of the Serie A in Italy at the San Siro stadium. Marcelo Brozovic opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a great counter-attack from his team, however, Rafael Leao equalized things in the 28th minute, and both teams went into halftime with a 1-1 draw.
In the second half, Milan would make two strong statements with goals from Olivier Giroud (54') and Rafael Leao (60'). Inter would not give up and would reduce the deficit with a goal from Dzeko (67'), but it wouldn't be enough to equalize the match.
