Melgar's manager reveals what they will do with the money raised in the Copa Sudamericana.

FBC Melgar will face the semifinals of the 2022 Copa Sudamericana against Independiente del Valle, but they are already thinking about the future. Their administrator, Ricardo Bettocchi, revealed what they will use the money collected so far in the international tournament. It is worth mentioning that it is more than 2 million dollars.

“With the money collected so far in the Copa Sudamericana, we are already starting to work on having a club complex. The idea is that the project will be well advanced by next year”, began the 'Dominó's' administrator.

“Melgar's project includes having the players play abroad in the future. What we want is to build the mental strength for them to leave and not return to national football, as usually happens,” added Ricardo Bettocchi.

On the other hand, he referred to the series they will have against IDV in the Copa Sudamericana. “We want to win absolutely everything, but we will take it easy and see how things go. We have a large squad to face Liga 1 and the Copa Sudamericana,” he said in an interview with RPP.
