Not everything was good news for Cruz Azul after the victory achieved last weekend in the Liga MX, which served to shake off the bad taste left by the 7-0 defeat inflicted by América in matchday 10, and it is that although thousands of cement makers enjoyed an exciting victory over Gallos Blancos, others took advantage to gang up on a lone supporter of the Querétaro team.
In a video circulating on social media, the moment is seen when Christian Tabó scores the second goal for Cruz Azul after it seemed that Gallos would take the draw as a visitor, a moment where several cement makers in the stands get up and harass, confront, and attack a single fan of the visiting team who was not even wearing his team's shirt.
One of those who attacked the fan was wearing a credential that supposedly accredits him as a Cruz Azul season ticket holder, others shout and throw liquids at him.

The attitude of these men has been harshly criticized on social media by fans of other teams, however, internet followers of La Máquina defended their actions, arguing that prior to this incident, this Gallos supporter had celebrated Clifford Aboagye's equalizer goal enthusiastically.
Neither the team nor the organization of the Estadio Azteca and the Liga MX have issued any statement regarding these events.
After several matches played at the Estadio Azteca, Cruz Azul will go on the road again on September 2 in matchday 12 of the 2022 Apertura, when they visit the Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez to face Bravos de Ciudad Juárez.
