Starting this August 15th, drivers in Metropolitan Lima will have a new speed control, and those who exceed these limits will receive a fine of up to 50% of a UIT (Tax Unit). That is why, in this article, we give you more details and show you where the control cameras are located.

Currently, on streets and roads, speeds should not exceed 30 km/h, while on avenues, the maximum is 50 km/h. If the new speed limits are not complied with, violators will be fined 2,300 soles.
