Robert Carmona: The story behind the oldest player

His first professional experience was in 1976 when he was 15 years old in the Pan de Azúcar club in his home country. Later on, and up to the present day, he has played for 35 teams. Although he never made it to elite football, he was awarded by the Guinness World Records at the age of 45. The process to be recognized as such started in 2010 and ended in 2014, during which he had to provide photographic evidence of the clubs he represented.
