The PSG season started off in great form in Ligue 1 and the team manages another big win, this time against Montpellier, in the second matchday. In the beginning of the second half, Neymar scored his double and also made it 3-0 on the scoreboard, to the delight of the fans at Parc des Princes.
The match had just passed the 50-minute mark and the 'Tricolor' tried to get out of their own area with a series of short passes, started by goalkeeper Jonas Omlin. Central defender Falaye Sacko had been enabled, still inside the penalty area he was guarding, and tried to be patient in deciding where to send the ball.
After a few seconds of delay, the defender was pressurized by Neymar and chose to pass it back to his goalkeeper, who quickly cleared it. However, the clearance was not very accurate: Kylian Mbappé intercepted and stopped the ball, leading to the appearance of Moroccan Achraf Hakimi.
The full-back controlled the ball, played a one-two with 'Kiki' and entered the penalty area with a big advantage over the Montpellier defense. Finally, the former Real Madrid player crossed the ball, which was deflected: Theo Sainte-Luce changed the direction of the ball and this helped 'Ney' to score with a header.
After finding the back of the net, the Brazilian went to celebrate in front of one of the stands at Parc des Princes, along with his teammates. With this result, PSG secures their second victory in Ligue 1 and remains temporarily as the sole leader, awaiting the completion of the matchday this Sunday.
