The Conmebol confirmed that Melgar and Independiente del Valle will face each other in Ecuador in the first leg, and will define the qualifier to the final of the Copa Sudamericana in Arequipa.
On Wednesday, August 31st, the Arequipa team will visit 'Negriazul' in Quito. The match will start at 5:15 p.m. according to Peruvian and Ecuadorian time. The Rodrigo Paz Delgado Stadium will be the scenario of the first confrontation.
According to the same schedule, the return match will be on Wednesday, September 7th at the Monumental Stadium of UNSA, in Arequipa. The duel will also be played at 5:15 p.m. with the presence of the 'rojinegra' fans.
The team directed by Pablo Lavallén eliminated Internacional from the competition on the continent and is already preparing to go as far as possible in the Copa Sudamericana 2022.
On the other hand, in the other tie, Atlético Goianiense will host Sao Paulo on September 1st (9:30 p.m.) and will close the duel on the 9th of the same month at 9:30 p.m. Atlético-GO will be the home team in the first leg and the 'Tricolor' will close at the Morumbí.
