Kirby's Dream Buffet: the Nintendo game à la Fall Guys is released on August 17th.

Release date for the new installment of the Kirby franchise, called Kirby’s Dream Buffet, has been announced. The announcement of the video game last July surprised the console users because the last Kirby title premiered on March 25th.

Now, Kirby’s Dream Buffet will be released on Nintendo's virtual eShop on August 17th. According to Nintendo's official website, the game consists of racing with Kirby and making him fatter along the way. Meanwhile, the character eats the cakes and strawberries he finds. Additionally, you can play with 1 up to 4 players.

The winner of the game will be the one with the heaviest Kirby, that is, the one who has eaten and advanced the most.

Nintendo's website also specifies that Kirby’s Dream Buffet will be exclusive to the Nintendo eShop, as there are no plans for it to be released in physical format in stores. Its established price is $14.99 in the Nintendo virtual store in the United States.
