What happened to Diego Bertie?
During the early morning of August 5th, it was reported that Diego Bertie had passed away. The 54-year-old artist is said to have fallen from his apartment located on the 14th floor of a building in the Miraflores district. The incident has not only saddened his fans, but also his colleagues who have left heartfelt farewell messages on their social media.

On the other hand, Peruvian actress Mari Pili Barreda posted a message expressing disbelief at what she saw on the news and social media about the death of Diego Bertie.
A few days ago, she remembered the 90s series Fandango where she had worked with the actor, and today she reposted that publication with a special message. "I'm really upset with you, Diego. You can't leave like this... Maybe I'm still dreaming."
On the other hand, actor Gonzalo Torres left a short message where he revealed that he was shocked by the sudden news. "Goodbye Diego. I have no words."
An ambulance attended to Diego Bertie after falling from the 14th floor of his residence located on Malecón de la Reserva, Miraflores. This was alerted by the building's security guard where the 54-year-old Peruvian actor lived. The singer was immediately taken to the Casimiro Ulloa Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
