The Peruvian volleyball team will receive a monthly donation of 20,000 soles until the end of the year from Ricardo Mendoza and Jorge Luna, hosts of the popular program "Talking nonsense". This is in support of the players, who went to the comedians to ask for help in the difficult moment the Peruvian Volleyball Federation (FPV) is going through.
This was revealed in the recent edition of the comedy program. "At least for this whole year, we have allocated 20,000 soles per month for the Peruvian women's volleyball national team," announced the hosts.
Later, they also mentioned that the players will receive 1,000 soles to cover their expenses. "Monthly, we will give each one 1,000 soles. This is very little money, we would love to give more and if we can give more, we will. We will start with this to see how it goes, but it is really very little money," they added.

"These girls need all the support to continue giving us joy, to go play, they need tickets, they need proteins, they need water. Here we contribute our bit," they explained.
More support for the players
Ricardo Mendoza mentioned that the players will be able to receive free treatment at a clinic. "A friend has a physiotherapy clinic and I have managed to arrange for them to be treated completely for free, so you will be able to go for treatment as many times as you want and whenever you want," he announced.
Players contacted "Talking nonsense" to ask for support
In addition, it was revealed that it was Karla Ortiz who contacted Jorge Luna to ask for help. "I wrote to Jorge trying my luck for financial support for the team, since currently the federation is not doing well. So all the girls who have been called up (to the national team) enter with a commitment to stay, but the months go by and sometimes just staying doesn't help much (financially)," she said.
