With the aim of supporting citizens with the basic expenses required to complete a food basket, the Minister of Economy and Finance of Peru announced the arrival of the Food Bonus.

In view of the recent increase in prices of essential products, the new subsidy will be available to support those who suffer the consequences of rising costs, following the arrival of the pandemic.
It is worth noting that this measure is being accompanied by financing of S/ 2.350 billion in credits to supplement the delivery of bonuses and the acquisition of fertilizers for agricultural production.
A few days ago, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) announced that the Executive will deliver this food bonus with an investment of S/ 400 million per month and will last for three months. Find out more details below.

Óscar Graham reported that the creation of the beneficiary register is being carried out in detail in order to deliver the money in an orderly manner and thus not exclude any person in need of this financial support.
Food Bonus: How much money will be delivered?
As reported by the Minister of Economy, this benefit will amount to 300 soles. This bonus will be destined only for low-income Peruvians.
