In their first season without Robert Lewandowski for a long time, Bayern Munich didn't lack goals. In fact, in the first half of the match against Leipzig this Saturday, for the German Super Cup, the Bavarian team went into halftime with a three-goal lead, thanks to Jamal Musiala, Sadio Mané, and Benjamin Pavard.
Just 14 minutes into the game at the Red Bull Arena, Lucas Hernández passed the ball to the German forward, who didn't miss his chance. Musiala, with little space, took a shot with his right foot and scored the 1-0. In the 31st minute, Mané was assisted by Serge Gnabry and the temporary 2-0 came.
Despite the considerable advantage, the team coached by Julian Nagelsmann was not satisfied and went for more. It was in one of the various attempts made by the Munich squad that Pavard scored the 3-0 in the 45th minute, after an assist by Musiala.

Bayern Munich vs Leipzig: Match Preview
Bayern Munich faces RB Leipzig on Saturday in the German Super Cup, their first official match since the departure of Robert Lewandowski, although they will have Senegalese Sadio Mané in attack.
Julian Nagelsmann's team, which won their tenth consecutive Bundesliga title last season, with 35 goals from Lewandowski, has had a busy transfer window.
Mané, chosen as the African Player of the Year, arrived from Liverpool after six years with the Reds, while Dutch center-back Matthijs de Ligt joined the Bavarian giant from Juventus for 67 million euros (68.2 million dollars).
"We realize that Mané is a true professional. He has trained hard from the beginning, very committed physically. Before the game, you can feel how he raises the tension, he is very active in training," praised Nagelsmann, who was Leipzig's coach between 2019 and 2021.
