On July 13th, the presentation of requests for members of the Private Pension System (SPP) began, which allows you to withdraw up to 4 tax units (UIT) from individual accounts, after an economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is important to note that, in order to make this withdrawal request, you must follow the established calendar set by the Association of AFP, and the deposit will be made in three parts. We will now explain the procedure.
How can I track my AFP withdrawal?
To track your AFP withdrawal request, you must pay close attention to the following steps.
- Go to https://www.consultaretiroafp.pe/#/bienvenido
- Click on "Cómo va mi solicitud"
- Enter your DNI number.
- Enter the check digit of your DNI. (It is the one that follows your 8 digits of your documentation)
- Click on "No soy un robot".
- Click on "Consultar".
You will see a summary of your data, your request number, and the AFP to which you belong. In another message, it will be indicated if your request was approved successfully, and you will be informed that in the following days, you will receive information about the status of your process.
If the request is approved, the deposit will be made within 30 calendar days and the AFP will send a confirmed email with the transfer information to your designated account.
Is there a schedule to request the AFP withdrawal 2022?
Here are the dates on which you can make your request. However, it is necessary to keep in mind that you cannot request the AFP on any day.
In fact, it all depends on the last number of your National Identity Document (DNI). For example, people whose DNI ends in 1 can make their request on July 22nd.
