When Edge & Christian arrived at Fastlane 2016 with their Cutting Edge Peep Show, we saw the emergence of an unlikely rivalry as the WWE tag team champions, The New Day, mocked The League of Nations, starting a feud that could go all the way to WrestleMania 32.
Now, the charismatic champions have released a video where they make fun of Sheamus and Rusev in a big way, as they perform a skit where the injured Bulgarian is bullied by an Irishman who punishes them with his Brogue Kick:
The segment between Edge & Christian, The New Day, and The League of Nations at Fastlane was not well received by the audience, mainly because it brought about a rivalry that doesn't seem to make much sense, as it pits two of the company's main heel groups against each other. And although The New Day is currently at the top of their division, The League has been deeply affected by an injury epidemic, coupled with the multiple defeats they have suffered at the hands of Roman Reigns since their formation a few months ago.
But this is not the only step that has been taken in this rivalry, as the members of The New Day have dedicated several taunts to the foreigners on social media:

These rumors about @WadeBarrett's imminent departure are odd. I haven't noticed him on our programming since 2014.

[League of Butts (aka Hot Trash)]
What do you think? Can The New Day make this seemingly doomed rivalry work?
