Real Madrid continues the firm work in preparation for the match against Barcelona in an international friendly. On Friday, the team returned to training, but this time it was a double session as is customary for several days on the preseason tour taking place in the United States. However, Eden Hazard suffered an injury after a hard blow and, in addition to him, Dani Carvajal was also absent.
"The team completed the second day of training at the UCLA campus in Los Angeles. Ancelotti's men carried out a double training session to continue their preparation for the start of the season," the club itself reported.
Despite carrying out the training normally and with various strategies, one of the notable absences was that of defender Dani Carvajal, who has some problems in his ankle due to a blow he suffered last Thursday. It doesn't seem to be anything serious, but his continuity is in doubt.
The full-back stayed inside the UCLA facilities and could be absent from the 'Clásico' if those discomforts do not subside since Ancelotti will not risk any player considering this as a key match against a rival that wants to field all its reinforcements.
"The session started with physical work in the gymnasium of the UCLA campus facilities. Then, the squad was divided into two teams to practice possession, pressing, and tactical work. The training ended with small-sided games and shots on goal. Carvajal worked inside the facilities," confirmed Madrid.
Two cases that seem to be different are those of Ferland Mendy, who presented muscular problems but would be fit for tomorrow, and Eden Hazard, who has symptoms of overload in addition to suffering a blow to the ankle as a result of a divided play.
