Today, July 20, Universitario de Deportes is celebrating because its mythical wooden stadium is turning 70 years old. 'Lolo' Fernández was the first home of the 'crema' team: on July 20, 1952, it opened its doors in an inaugural match against the University of Chile, winning by 4 to 2, thus giving great joy to all its fans.
