Amid the various rumors and comments that have emerged about the celebrities, Nadia Ripoll, Shakira's mother, spoke for the first time on the subject in an interview with Europa Press.
"If that's what they want, whatever makes them happy. I don't know if they are talking, I have no idea because I don't ask," said the mother of the Colombian when asked if she wishes for a reconciliation between the parents of her grandchildren Sasha and Milan.
At another moment, Nadia spoke about Gerard Piqué and pointed out that she has always had a good relationship with him, whom she referred to respectfully.
"It's been a long time since I talked about him and I think so (they have a good relationship) because we haven't fought and neither have the parents," she added.
In another interview for the same media, Shakira's mother spoke honestly and said that she does want Shakira and Gerard to resume their relationship.
