A myth falls in Barcelona: Rosell revealed why Guardiola left in 2012.

It has been a long time since Pep Guardiola stopped being the coach of FC Barcelona, however, the reasons why he left the team always remained latent. Therefore, during an interview with 'El Periódico', Sandro Rosell stated that it was a problem with the squad.

It was speculated that the former Barcelona president was responsible for Guardiola's departure from the team, however, Rosell denied it: "It's not true. Guardiola and the players have explained it over and over again. Pep left because of an argument with the players. Because of a problem in the locker room."

Likewise, Sandro Rosell considered his "four years at Barça" as the best in the history of the club.

"In titles of the sections, money earned, created heritage, social function, in the Foundation. They are the best. They are facts," he clarified.

He also added a curious comment, highlighting his work within the board. "You can say: 'I can't stand Rosell.' But the objective data of my management are published and audited on the official Barça website. I have never defended myself, but the numbers speak for themselves.

Problems with their signings

Barcelona started with the announcements of reinforcements for the next season, and in a single day the club announced the signings of Frank Kessié and Andreas Christensen. Both arrive on a free transfer, but with a signing bonus and a salary that the team from the Catalan city has to face.

However, neither of the two signings can play matches with the Barcelona team for now. According to Juan Antonio Alcalá, from COPE, Barcelona continues to exceed the economic limits.
