Orlando City, the team of Uruguayan players Facundo Torres, Mauricio Pererya, and César Araújo, lost 5-3 on Monday in the Major League Soccer (MLS) tournament in the United States.
Pereyra, who started the match, assisted Torres - who came on in the second half - to score the first goal for his team. Later, the former Peñarol footballer provided an assist for his teammate Ercan Kara to score the second goal. The third goal was scored by the Brazilian Alexandre Pato.

Another Uruguayan, César Araújo, also came on as a substitute for Orlando.
Scoring for DC United were Taxiarchis Fountas (3), Kimarni Smith, and Nigel Robertha.
During the match at the Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Torres - who has played 17 games and scored three goals - was asked to sign a shirt, but it wasn't his own, it was a Luis Suárez shirt from his time at Liverpool.

With 18 games played, Orlando City is currently in 6th place in the Eastern Conference with 25 points, while DC United is in 13th place.
The leader of that zone is New York RB with 32 points.
Torres' transfer from Peñarol to the MLS was completed in January 2022 for a fee of US$13 million, of which the aurinegros received US$9 million to be collected plus 30% of a future transfer.
