Real Madrid signings in the summer transfer market: following Isco, Marcelo, and Bale, Florentino Pérez gears up to announce the fourth discard this week.

Spanish press reports this Wednesday that Real Madrid wants to resolve Serbian player Luka Jovic's future once and for all, as he is not included in the plans for the 2022-23 season.

Spanish press reports this Wednesday that Real Madrid wants to resolve Serbian player Luka Jovic's future once and for all, as he is not included in the plans for the 2022-23 season.

The summer 2022-23 transfer market has not officially started in Europe yet. July 1st will be the definitive date for its opening. However, for Real Madrid, the summer window has already begun weeks ago with the signings of Antonio Rüdiger and Aurélien Tchouaméni. The Bernabéu offices have taken care of reinforcements, but also departures. In that line, Marcelo Vieira, Isco Alarcón, and Gareth Bale said goodbye in recent days, although according to the Spanish newspaper Don Balón, there will be more departures in the Chamartín team.

The fourth departure for the 2022-23 season, which would be announced by no later than this week, would be none other than Luka Jovic. Despite being one of the most expensive signings in the club's history, coach Carlo Ancelotti does not need his services as he has Karim Benzema in top form.

"Jovic is the next victim that the Italian coach wants to claim. 'Carletto' knows that, with Benzema at an optimal level, the Serbian will hardly have any opportunities in the team next season, so an exit is best for both parties, and Jovic himself is aware of this," the Spanish media outlet publishes.

Afortunately for Real Madrid and Luka Jovic, there are clubs interested in the Serbian in the transfer market. One of them is Fiorentina, who wants the services of the Balkan player, but not on the conditions that President Florentino Pérez sets to definitively get rid of the former Eintracht Frankfurt forward.

For Real Madrid, the ideal scenario is to sell Jovic for 20 million euros. However, Fiorentina does not plan to buy him. At least not this season. The Serie A team is betting on a one-year loan and could accept the condition of a mandatory purchase if the conditions change from the Bernabéu.

The scenario does not seem favorable for the Spaniards, but Fiorentina presents itself as the most feasible offer for the Serbian if they want an immediate exit for him. If he stays, he will not have a place in the squad and it could be money poorly invested by the fourteen-time European champion.

What are the Real Madrid signings for 2022-23?

A few weeks before the start of the pre-season, Real Madrid has two official signings for the next season. The first one is Antonio Rüdiger, who arrived from Chelsea as a free player. The German has signed a contract until 2026 and will earn 10 million euros per year. He will play as a center-back, displacing David Alaba to the wing.

Another player who reinforces Madrid for the next season is Aurélien Tchouaméni. For 80 million euros, plus another 20 in variables, the Frenchman arrived from AS Monaco to become the next replacement for Casemiro. The future of the fourteen-time European champion is already on the move.
