The Peruvian team of freestyle motocross (FMX) Cartel Zetatres is pleased to invite the media to a free exhibition to be held this Thursday, June 23rd, starting at 7:00 pm, at Agua Dulce beach in Chorrillos.
This activity will start a national tour of the Cartel Zetatres team, which will include various cities and provinces in the interior of the country (including Ayacucho, Huancayo, Oxapampa, Tarapoto, Cajamarca, among others), and it will culminate on July 23rd, with the team's return to Lima to give an international-level show at Plaza Arena.
For the event this Thursday at Agua Dulce, the members of Cartel Zetatres hope to collect all kinds of donations, especially warm clothing (jackets, blankets, covers, sweaters, and general clothing), which they will take to the highlands of Ayacucho, a region where they will start their national tour and where many of the most vulnerable communities to cold weather and frost are located, which begin with the winter season.
An Exciting Sport
Freestyle motocross, or FMX, is a fairly young discipline that consists of performing aerial maneuvers or stunts on a motorcycle. It is usually done on open circuits with sand tracks and ramps, where participants not only expose their vehicles to hits and damages but also risk their own lives.
Zack Zevallos is the leader of the Cartel Zetatres team and perhaps the greatest exponent of FMX in Peru. He is the only Peruvian who has successfully performed the death-defying stunt known as backflip, after countless attempts in which he not only ruined several bikes but also suffered multiple fractures and injuries all over his body.
On Thursday, June 23rd, Zack and his team will be the main attraction of the exhibition, which, in addition to promoting this new sport, aims to bring warm clothing to our brothers and sisters in need in Ayacucho.
