Many will remember Valentina Shevchenko, the martial artist who went through the reality show Combate, in which she shared with media figures like Israel Dreyfus, Karen Dejo, Mario Irrivarren, among others. The Kyrgyzstani fighter is now 34 years old and is going through a great moment in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), which is the most well-known mixed martial arts company worldwide.

The former 'combatant' is the current flyweight champion of the UFC with an impressive reign of 1,293 days; she is also the champion who has defended this belt the most times, a total of seven times. Her last victory took place on June 11, 2022 against Taila Santos in UFC 275.

As if this were not enough, Shevchenko is looking to take another step in her career and has expressed her interest in the Women's Bantamweight Championship, a belt that the legendary Ronda Rousey once had the honor of wearing.
