PHILADELPHIA - Fleetwood baseball made a late-season push to earn a spot in the PIAA Class 4A postseason, but the run came to an end on Monday afternoon with an 8-1 loss to District 12 champ Monsignor Bonner at Lincoln High School.
Irv Fisher had three hits, including a two-run single and Austin Cannon delivered a two-run double as the Friars raced out to a 6-0 lead.
Monsignor Bonner moves on to a quarterfinal round game against either Wyoming Area or Montoursville on Thursday.
