Australia Prepares for Repechage against UAE with Friendly Match in Doha
The Oceanic selection is preparing for their playoff against the United Arab Emirates with a friendly match in Doha
Australia, a possible opponent for the Peruvian national team in the repechage for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, has decided to face Jordan in their preparation for the match against the United Arab Emirates.
The Oceanic national team will face the Jordanian team at the Al Wakrah Stadium, located just over 30 minutes from the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, where Peru will play the intercontinental playoff for the World Cup.
In the 17th minute of the first half, Australia received a fantastic goal. Musa Al-Taamari, a forward who plays for Oud-Heverlee Leuven in the Belgian First Division, scored a beautiful goal after a series of tiki-taka plays by his teammates.
Australia will face United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, June 7th (1:00 PM Peruvian time). The winner of this match will play against the Peruvian national team for a spot in the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
