Regarding Renato Tapia in La Liga, the former footballer stated: "He is a young player with a lot of quality. My advice is for him to work hard, he is in a very good team and he has to continue like this to keep growing. Peruvian football has good players."
About Peru in the playoffs, Puyol commented: "Ricardo Gareca has formed a great group and that's how you achieve things. I have experienced firsthand that Spain has had great players but we have only clicked when we have been united. So, my advice would be that the group stays united in good times and bad", Puyol said in a press conference.
