Christian Ortiz left a great impression during his time in Peruvian football by wearing the shirts of San Martin and Sporting Cristal, the famous "Titi" scored great goals and was the focal point of the clubs he played for, which led the Argentine to move to better leagues to the point that he now plays in the MLS.

"Titi" Ortiz arrived in Peru to play for San Martin in 2016 and came with a great reputation as he was a promising player at Independiente in Argentina. He played for San Martin for one season and shone, which led him to Sporting Cristal in 2017, but in 2018 he returned to Argentina to join "Rojo".
He went through the same process between 2018 and 2020 and then signed with Independiente del Valle in Ecuador. He excelled with the northern team during 2020 and 2021 and was key to the 'Matagigantes' title.
His successful spell in Ecuador led him to be signed by Xolos de Tijuana in the Liga MX. The Mexican team bought him in 2021 and now, at the beginning of 2022, he joined the ranks of Charlotte FC in the MLS. The American team decided to reinforce themselves with Christian Ortiz, who at 29 years old is excelling in the tournament.
Currently, coach Miguel Angel Ramirez - who coached him at IDV - considers him an undisputed starter, wearing the number '10' on his back. He has played 10 consecutive matches and scored 1 goal against Greenville Triumph SC in the US Open Cup. He also plays alongside Yordy Reyna.
