Sporting Cristal released a medical report through their social media.
The rimense club dismissed any kind of severity and indicated that the former player of the Peruvian national team is completely out of danger. They even stated that on Friday 27, the left-back will return to training with the rest of his teammates. La Celeste will face Binacional in the Liga 1 this Saturday, April 30.
"Sporting Cristal Club informs that the football player Nilson Loyola is recovering satisfactorily from the concussion he suffered during the match against Talleres de Córdoba," stated the statement shared by the brewers.

"After the tests carried out, a magnetic resonance imaging and a tomography determined that it was a blow without major consequences, so after returning to Lima and resting all day, Nilson will rejoin training on Friday, April 29," added the club.

Juan Ignacio Méndez, from Talleres, was the one who hit Nilson Loyola at the 65th minute of the Copa Libertadores 2022 match in his attempt to win the ball.
